In shock, in solidarity In shock and in solidarity,we mourn the victims of Dhaka terror attack. our sorrows know no bound Today, I am not here to post an informative blog about something interesting that may either amuse or please my readers! Today, I am here to mourn the victims of Dhaka terror attack. Today, I am here only to shed tears silently for those innocent young and old men and women, both local and foreign, alike who were brutally butchered by Seven coldblooded trained murderers on the night of July !, 2016 last in a bakery cum restaurant located on a street of a highly secured area of the city where I reside now! Please allow me to cry alone. Do not ask me to explain how such senseless atrocities could happen in a secular country like mine! Because, truth is that some of the small-minded fanatical bigots have managed to destroy the good image of my secular country! I do not know who these coldblooded murderers are. Are they local or from another Country? Are they professional terrorists who like to murder for pleasure only to scare us all? Or are they a bunch of Killers trained to kill innocents in the name of religion? Because, such questions will not bring back those who were brutally massacred in that bakery cum restaurant on that fateful night! I could now only wonder whether it will be possible for us to leave our Grand safe under a fearless sky, and on a secured land before we go to meet our creator! Dear readers, may I request you to join me to pray for the departed souls, irrespective of their nationality or color of their skins and or the religions they practiced while alive? Photos of Faraz Hassan, Abanti Kabir and Taroushi Jain who were killed by the terrorists on 1st July,2016 in Dhaka along with other seventeen persons. |

Heartbreaking News!!

I was away from all media for most of that day, but when I read about it that night, my first thoughts were for you and prayed you and your family were safe. My second were prayers for the victims and their families, who are also victims and for the people of the city as they try to recover. No one can understand these terrorists and their actions. We must each seek God in our own hearts and make our peace with Him and reach out with love to others. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

My sincerest sympathies my friend to you and your country. These thugs and murderers don't give a darn about religion, in my humble opinion. They are intent on brutally gaining power, under the guise of religion, and that is their ultimate goal.

Just4AFewAgn,hello. Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind response. I appreciate. Here is a quote that may support your contention:. "Man's inhumanity (towards man) comes from within, due to the lack of cardinal virtues." Stay well and happy.Take care always

That night was really scary and frightening as well as confusing too. We could not learn much of what was happening during the first few hours excepting the news of death of two high ranking police officer at the place where the incident was being unfolded gradually. Then the Army commandos intervened in the morning and rescued 13 of the hostages alive. The found others killed brutally! We will never understand why they did such thing when our religion does not permit anyone to kill. Thanks again for stopping by and your response. Take care and stay happy.

These fanatics will not stop until they are dead or everyone converts to their religion. I am not sure which will happen first. You and the victims are in my prayers too. Fossil

My sincerest sympathies my friend to you and your country. These thugs and murderers don't give a darn about religion, in my humble opinion. They are intent on brutally gaining power, under the guise of religion, and that is their ultimate goal. Thank you so much for the decent and kind words left here on my blog by you, my friend. I agree with what you have posted here on my blog page about the motives of these brutal killers and their masters. These killers do not practice any religion. They are simply brain washed to kill in the name of religion! Thanks again,Rocketship, for passing by and for your response. Stay well and happy. Take care.

Sending prayers and healing thoughts your way. It makes one feel so sad and helpless. My heart goes out to all the bereaved families. Many thanks for sending prayers and healing thoughts in our way, Maudie. We could never believe that such senseless incident could happen in a secular country like Bangladesh and as such it was beyond our comprehension that the hostages could be brutally murdered one by one by the Killers. No doubt, we felt completely helpless when both local and foreign TV channels started broadcasting the death of two high ranking police officers, shot by the hostage takers! Thanks again,Maudie for stopping by my blog, Take care and stay well.

My sincere , heartfelt sympathies for the country and the loved ones of the victims. Fanatism is a virus in our midst. Every person, irrespective of religion ,creed or culture should work together to eradicate such sickening violence against in this world. I do not know whether you read any other wonderful blogs since uploaded by other bloggers on this site before stopping by mine as you seem to be new here! The blog no doubt tells you a morbid but true story----a story that depicts man's inhumanity towards man, Anyway, thank you so much for your visit and response. Your post has made me believe that there are still people in this world to deplore such barbarous and brutal acts and suggest steps that are required to be taken by all together, irrespective of religion, creed or culture to eradicate such sickening violence (just quoting some of your words ) from everywhere. Have a wonderful weekend,Syam
