Spring left? Ours hasn't really started yet, here in Toronto. Officially it started last week but it's still cold.

Those are gorgeous pictures, Looklook. The one with the bird is my favorite. It's a pleasure to see such nice pictures. Thank you for sharing them.

Archer hello,
It made me happy to see you stopping by my blog page. Being an English lady, now living in France, you sure know that the quotation comes from Alexander Pope's "Essay on Man". Pope is one of my favorite English Poet. Thank you so much for liking the photos of the flowers! Have a nice week end.

Spiritwoman, hello
You are absolutely correct about our seasons. However, we have six seasons here in my country-- may be, two more than your Country. Our main blooming season is also in Feb. Thanks for viewing the photos and also for leaving your post here on. Have a wonderful week.

Hello MBN,, thank you for this nice blog. I love and know also most of these flowers as we have them here too, grown in different areas as such. Some are quite big trees and some are just low plants as well. They are really beautiful when grown closely together. On the third and forth pics, the flowers are called Dahlias, the fifth pic it is called Gindha, which the Hindu likes too much for flourishing their temples and it has a bit of odd smell and is medicinal too. The !st, the 6th and the 8th pics, these are called the Flame trees. I forgot the name of the pink flowers on the 9th pic and the 10th is the creeping gindha also.
They are all nice, thank you and have a nice weekend.
Lisa.

Thanks for your post left here on my blog page. Do not worry, spring is supposed to follow the winter every where in the world. Glad to note that the picture with the bird is your favorite. Thanks once again and wish you all the best.

Hello dearest MLLD,
Wonderful Lisa, you are absolutely correct about the flowers and the purpose for which one of those is used by a particular religion both here and in your country too. Yes , we call it Gendha ( Marigold) too. Marigolds are always in great demand in the temples of this religion for offering to their God/Goddess. I know that you have a large garden and you like to grow seasonal flowers there every year. Thanks again for viewing the pictures and for leaving your informative comments also. Have a wonderful week. Wish you all the best. Take care.

How colourful and vibrant your Spring looklook - I guess it passed all too quickly for you The pink blossoms which remind me of cherry blossoms I particularly liked. What season are you in now?

Spring here comes for a short time. Maximum for a period of sixty days, Lilium. It is really colorful and vibrant too. We all love spring. Yes, the pink blossoms are almost like cherry blossoms. we are now passing through early phase of summer to be followed by the Monsoon. Lilium, thank you so much for stopping by and also for your inquisitive comments. Have a wonderful and pleasant week.

Hi Look: Beautiful flowers. It's the very beginning of Spring here but still snowing this week. We used to have four seasons but now with global warming it's either freezing cold or too hot. Having a Monsoon season where you live sounds scary. Where do you go for shelter if a monsoon comes?

Thanks for liking the flowers. Weather Pattern follows a certain cycle as far as I can guess. It is not understood why it should sound scary to you for our having a Monsoon season? Where do people go in your country when rain comes there or while snowing months together? Do they not live in their own houses, Bijou? Do you think that people here live in the open when Monsoon comes? No, they do not. They have their own houses to take shelter during calamities. I also take this opportunity to suggest you to avoid asking such silly questions to any one in future . By asking such questions you may hurt the person's feelings too. Hope you have your answer by now!!

I thought a monsoon was like the very dangerous hurricanes or tornados we have here where the loss of lives and damage is huge. We don't have monsoons here so have no idea what is involved. Sorry to offend you.

Hello Bijou. The term monsoon is usually used to refer to the rainy phase of a seasonally changing pattern. The major monsoon systems of the world consist of the West African and Asia-Australian monsoons. In this sub-continent,the term is used to refer to the big seasonal winds blowing from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea in the southwest bringing heavy rainfall to the area, Tornadoes and hurricanes are not unknown here in this part of our world. Hurricanes are known here as Cyclones which are equally dangerous.
I do no longer feel offended after reading your post. It is always nice to read you here on my blog. Thanks once again and best wishes.

Hello Looklook....Those are beautiful flowers on your blog. Our spring started in early February this year as we had such a mild winter. The cherry blossoms came out very early and weren't as nice as they usually are as they bloomed too early. The tulips are in full bloom and I noticed some of the Azaleas are starting to bloom. A lot of the trees have leafed out as well. It is one of my favorite times of the year. You take nice photos.
