Hi Looklook, Thanks for the blog, it's a good informative one too. But as far as I know Ebola, isn't known only by this year, it was far behind since several years ago in other countries in Africa but never really taken care of, unless as it has spread now in several countries, killing so many and affecting lots more, then they are taking it as serious now. Ebola outbreak was in Congo ( formally known as Zaire) and Sudan also. It was in 1976, named after a river (Ebola) in Congo. In Sudan, it had infected lots of people and mortality was 53% and, then it emerged again in Congo (Zaire) with 88% mortality. It was identified in monkeys, in 1989, from the Philippines and then later in Ivory Coast in 1994 and then in Gabon as well. As it is spreading and killing lots in these affected area and new countries also, now Ebola is so heard as a killer decease. Ebola is the worst of any other infectious deceases nowadays, it is a fast killer and none is sure of any cure for instance. People must be very careful in those infected countries to just prevent its spreading worldwide. Thanks again for your blog, I hope the readers know now about the source and the seriousness of Ebola.
