GOOD WEATHER

We have good days once in awhile here in Missouri. Then it goes back to the cold and the wind.

Miss Vera Wag and I got out-- when it was nice and went to a place close by called Linden Lure. I'm looking for friendship rocks. (rocks with natural holes in them) I have a friend who is an artist and he will use them in his art work.

I took Vera's harness off and she was allowed to run free. She loved the water. She would swim and shake all over me.

It was a wonderful warm, windy, magnificent day! Isn't life good?

That's a lovely scene, and I'm glad you and Vera had good enough weather for a pleasure outing.

I gotta ask--why are rocks with natural holes in them called friendship rocks?

I also want to say: Friendship ROCKS!

Hey traveler, Good to hear you! I don't know why they call them Friendship Rocks? I will ask my friend when I see him this pm.

You both seem to be having fun and doing things you enjoy. Life doesn't get much better than that, does it? Nice picture.

I love the name of your dog, Vera Wag. Very creative!

Looks very peaceful there among the rocks, water, you and Vera Wag.

Thanks Ann, Isn't she a doll? That tail of hers goes 90 to nothing! It was a peaceful day and I guess you can't see it but there is a waterfall behind us. It was great. Most of the time there are lots of people at this location. Are you using really big font? My daughter is with me and says it is big! I don't see the words-- My computer is reading to me. laughing Right now I am using a sexy Frenchman's voice. (I call him Étienne)

A true lab. have never seen one that does not love to swim. My sister's neighbor has one who "escapes" every chance he gets for a swim in her pool.

spirit, it has been the strangest thing, Vera will not go into a pool when I am there. This was the first time she has ever gone for a swim while I was present. Most of the time she will stay right beside me. I think it was because I took her harness off and also because I sat down.

She will swim if she is with my children, but not if I am there.

As soon as I stood up she got out of the water and stood with me.

It was nice to know she had fun that day. Gosh I love that dog!

Good to hear you my friend!

Definitely. When you took the harness off she was off duty and could play. Her only job is to take care of you and unlike most people dogs take their jobs seriously 24/7. No human can come close to a dogs love and care for their human.
