The official Trump apologists are sounding increasingly like propagandists in some creepy movie.........like programmed automatons.......Cabinet members declaring loyalty to Trump was another step towards autocracy ...saying they felt "blessed" to be able to participate......I got the impression that if they were standing, they would have been genuflecting.

Ivanka on Fox.....she is shocked at the viciousness of people's response to her father........apparently she paid no attention whatsoever to her father's viciousness.to Obama, to his opponents and many others........She keeps using a proprietary "we" when she is talking about the administration, as if the US is being run by a family instead of a government......especially disturbing in the light of Trump's continued refusal to fill the steering positions in the White House.

Even watching Canadian news we're inundated with all things Trump. Not only do we get to hear from Trump himself, but now we are bombarded with Donald Jr., Eric , and Ivanka, all of them on t.v. today spewing out their indignation that anyone would possibly speak in such vicious terms about their dear saint of a father. What happened to the nepotism laws anyway?? The entire family with the possible exception of Barron is hard to take. amp;

It's distressing that they 'stick to their guns" like they do, even when they shoot off their foot.

But still, that does not make them our enemy.

If you believe in humanity, then it requires you to understand humanity.
Empathy and your humility, are not just for those you find poor and oppressed.

What we can learn from our age, and our life long struggles, that there is no avoiding humanity and humility. It finds us all.
Armed with that knowledge is all one needs to know, as to what will happen with the truth

We are all like reformed Christians, smokers, and alcoholics. We close that door, and believe anybody still behind it is unworthy. Yet It is only those, unworthy, that do not open the door for others.

For many the battle is lost, they just don't realize it yet. Their favored world, will comes crashing down by the weight of humanity and humility.
Even Trump is not immune. Trump and some his supporters may never realized, they have lost, but we will realize they have lost " IT" ...when they choose not to come through door we leave open for them.
And yet we will find US unworthy, if we slam that door in their face. !

So here's how it goes, as soon as you think of THEM as they think of YOU..

YOU LOSE!

Hi skariff - could i ask you a question? Last week I watched James Comey testify under oath and although I didn't watch Jess Sessions testify yesterday, he too would have been subjected to same I would think (testify under oath). I think Sessions a slippery character. How would he be held accountable, on being questioned, offer vague answers by way of reply? Simply shrug one's shoulders and let the matter drop? The introduction of high accuracy (86, non-intrusive lie detection tests which analyse involuntary eye behaviour surely wouldn't be too much of an imposition (when ocular-motor deception test is used in conjunction with polygraph, and both test results are same, confidence in the test outcome can be as high as 99 where matters of national security/corruption are concerned? Thanks.

Why is so hard for us to understand what the real problem is....

The problem isn't something new.. it's just been taken to a new level.

Politician and people have always tried to use the truth, for a goal.
The truth was a always a means to end, but it still was the truth and it mattered.

Along came Trump and we all became his "Apprentices"

The goal is the only thing that matters. There's no truth.... just goals.

Here's an irony, again.

Of those who disagree with what I say, about the truth. About what Trump does, with the truth.

As you sit back and disagree, do you ever think that the goal you have is what is defining the truth.
I don't want to leave anyone out, so if you sit back and agree, is it the goal you have that is defining the truth? ......Is it so horribly bad, that Trump is a goal seeker instead of truth seeker? If he is, then what do think gives him that power? What allows him to do it? Is Trump changing the face of this country, or has this country created the face of Trump?

Again with the irony....

People who accuse other people almost always accuse themselves.

People who are truthful, usually don't think other people liars
People who are liars call other people liars.

People on the right accuse many on the left of not telling the truth. Creating a lie that is believed by those who are served by the lie. Not telling the whole truth about Liberalism and socialism. Maybe you cannot see the irony in that, but I certainly can.

Trump maybe the greatest set up artist ever. We talk of collusion...he talks of leaks.
We talk about news, he talks about 'fake news", and alternative facts. We talk about seeking the truth , he talks about witch-hunts. We talks about what we think he is doing is wrong, he talks about sore losers.
It's all by design.....It all a set-up, to fall back on. It's done to hide the truth. Every truth discovered can be combated with what he is setting us up, to believe.

WHat's hard to figure out about Trump.. is does he actually know the truth?
Was there actually collusion? Was there actually obstruction?
Is his goal to hide it, or is his goal it doesn't matter.
Does Trump see the rest of the world, as he sees himself?
Would the rest of the world not care about the truth, it they could use it for a goal.
Does the truth of collusion or obstruction or interference matter, or does it just matter what other people can do with it, to hurt him.

I think Trump sees..... that in regards to collusion, obstruction and Russian inference he has been dealt a weaker hand. His goal, is to weaken the stronger hand. To win he needs to be on a level playing field.

It's just that simple. That's his goal, and the truth doesn't matter..........

Thanks - your explanation brought clarity. So subpoenaing Sessions could be a possibility then (?).
