I can't understand their anger either. Since Trump won the Repubs here are angrier and more insulting than ever. One Trump supporter here, who believes Trump won the popular vote too, called me a faceless internet troll who goes from blog to blog insulting other responders?? In all the years I've been here I can't remember one time I've insulted any of the bloggers here. It's not that I don't want to insult them (lol), but I try to be a good person and forgiving like Barack and Michelle. I'm no saint mind you but I do try to find the good in people no matter how disgusting they seem. Another Repub here said she has no respect for any of my opinions because I made some comment on a blog years and years ago that I didn't like the way one of my dates dressed 25 years ago??

lets keep jobs in USA

Carrier was offered 1.7 million to keep 2000 jobs in Indiana. It wasn't good enough

After fierce negotiations with Trump

Carrier is keeping 800 jobs in Indiana for 7 million dollars

I think the way Trump may see it.......It's just another billionaires tax cut.

Roxy,
I wish you had left racism out of it. so i could agree.

Interestingly you said...... racist like Trump.

I thought do I agree or do I not agree?

Well I had a choice as to how I read it. Racist like, Trump..... or racist, like Trump.

I think there is a difference between condoning a degree of racism and actually being a racist.

I don't like drawing lines and saying anyone above the line is a racist and below the line is not a racist. The line is an interpretation not an absolute.

Your interpretation is a lot different than mine.

I could think thoughts that someone could consider racist, does that make me a racist? That being said, I don't have my head in the sand either

There are people on this site who are racists, by my interpretation. How I arrive at that is not what they say, it's how they say it, how they phrase it that's indicative of the way they think. Racism is not what you think, it's the way you think about it.
In regards to Trump, first, I'm not really sure he means anything he says. What he says I can't say I know to be racist, because I'm not sure how he think about it. I do know what he says, supports other who are racists.

Now if you said he was sexist..... I have no doubt.

I have a problem with the way people think about Trump. They agree to certain characteristics, but they don't interpret those characteristics as to what they actually mean.

In all or part, people agree, he an egotist, a narcissist, a manipulator, an elitist, a sexist, an a very good businessman (by interpretation of what good means)

You see roxy, by my interpretation i didn't include racist because I don't know that what he is. Interpret the characteristics. he already think he's better than everyone else, deserves more than anyone else, can do with impunity more than anyone else .Black, white, brown, red, and yellow is all them same to him. His regard for each is no different.

He's a racist towards the human race.

Interpret his characteristics, and you will discover he has no sense of the common man, because he doesn't see himself as one.

His presidency will not improve the stock of the common American. It will improve of stock of others elitists.

He is truly a believer in trickle down scraps, for the average American.

Think about this......

He's a sexist... but what does actually think. What does it mean to him.
It not about ALL woman. almost all woman are just PEOPLE, and it's people he has no regard for.

Good looking and really good looking woman, make them elite. make them worthy. But they are not in competition with him, they don't infringe upon his power, they just prove it. That's the way he sees it, other woman, well, they are just part of the human race.

My god people,
all you need to see is who surround himself with.

Certainly other president have name rich people to high positions, and we assume that is not the main criteria.

But how do you not with Trump, it's overwhelming
Good looking people, rich people, elitist.
Ability is low on the totem pole for Trump. it counts, but doesn't count as much.

It's pretty evident that Obama, has black people in key positions, but it wasn't all about being black. I think of it, as Obama's affirmative action, qualifications first , black second.

Trump does the same thing, but it's not about affirmative action. It's about, using it as a view of qualifications. Think about Romney as secretary of state, think about it I think Trump likes his qualifications (as I outlined) more so than Juliani. It more like if Obama named all black people in key positions.

All I can say it's good thing Trump didn't have an ugly child.or one that didn't meet his standard or qualifications. For all we know maybe he did, and got him/her stashed away someplace.

Give me a break, Trump is a racist and he has inspired an explosion of horrific hate crimes numbering in the hundreds all across America. There is just no rational dispute of that, denials yes, but they are flat out not credible. He is also a sexist and he has a terrible problem telling blatant lies. He's also made seriously questionable appointments thus far. A few I can live with. McConnell's wife at Transportation is not one of them. She was a miserable failure at Labor under Bush. Bannon is terrible and I'm less than thrilled with Haley at the UN. Dr. Death's appoint at HHS is horrible. I'm not convinced he even gets confirmed. I think secretly Trump hopes he doesn't and is just using him as a pawn to ultimately tell obsessed anti-ObamaCare republicans to sit down and just shut up.

I think America already regrets this whole mess. It's only going to get worse. People will look stunned at each other the night of Trump's first state of the union speech and say...omg, we're stuck with a mad man.
Gimme a break? who do you want to give you a break?

let me ask something, i need clarification. What your interpretation of a racist.

dictionary..... racist - a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to other races

So the defintion to me is about being white. So are you defining Trump's actions as racist, because he's Trump, or because he's white?,

for me, i don't see Trump as white, i see someone like "ranger" as white, but I don't see Trump as white. I must be blind.
I don't see myself as white, but maybe you see me as white.

I have a hard time with people on right who assume disagreement is interpreted as agreement to that other side.

so let me ask you this.....If I disagree with you that Trumps is racist.
Does that make me a racist....do you see me as white?

I love making up words. when there is no word to describe what I want to say.

Anyway just did a new word one to describe "leaf"

Allophiliac

kind of opposite of racist, with a twist.

If you want to look it up, it's not in the dictionary, but you will find "allophilia" somewhere.

Okay "big" since you see it that way, I'll give you my answer.

Production tax or consumption tax, You don't pay tax when you make it but when you consume it.

What about a park tax, a police tax, a military tax, a school tax, a legistlative tax, a water tax, an air you breathe tax, a tax to do you taxes, are we suppose only pay it when we use it? We consume a heck of more than we pay for.

so tax avoidance, becomes just take the free stuff.

you don't want to tax businesses, because of it's bad effect on the economy.

What to you think a consumption tax would do to the economy. it would destroy it.

Thanks Earthy. We sure miss you around here. I thought after the election the Repubs here would behave better but for some reason most of them are more insulting now than they were before. One by one the liberals have been ganged up on and insulted right out of the group. Any prospective new member looking through our blogs would think this is some right wing political site. What a shame.
