other than your left bashing. I pretty much agree with everything you said. In regards to Trump, After he manages to get the nomination, you will see a different Trump. he will be a more moderate one. Not that he is, it's just his vision of the way to elected. He is a nothing. He will analyse the fear of democrats, the concerns of democrats and the reason they actually do support a particular candidate, and use it. he knows what plays to the Republicans and he know what will play to the nation. My idea, is that Trump is not the problem, the attitude of Republicans is the current problem, and the attitude of the country will soon become the new problem. It's what he's done with the Republicans, He'll do the same thing on a national level. Why will he get away it?, Because the Republicans have no other choice but to vote for him. It was his plan all along, if he could have gotten away with it, with the democrats, he would have became one.

This country has become fearful of the backroom politics That we have had to deal with for years. We are a country fighting against that. the simple irony, and the current State of the Nation, is that, in reality,. there is no greater backroom politician in this election than Donald Trump. That which this country's people say they fight against is what they are supporting. Backroom politics against backroom politics. Wow, can we all be that stupid?

maisie, Science and the ideas of global warming , and the politics of it, are all different things. Much like other problems we face, we don't need to know the exact cause of those problems, we don't need to know the specific solutions to those problems. We just need to find a path that will attempt to deal with the problems. Denying global warming is like denying the air you breathe. Discussing the solution to the problem is like trying to make the air you breathe a specific combination of elements that should never change. We as a planet will have to deal with global warming at some point. We can start now and try to do what we can, and be on a path to deal to try and deal with it, or just deny it. We can't come up with a total solution, it's not in the cards..It's inevitable. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. You see the immediate negative of trying, and there will be some. But the negative effect of trying can be overcome. the question is.. can we overcome the negative effects of not trying? There will come a time, when trying won't matter. It is very possible that time is now. As a planet, as a country, and as an individuals many problems we face aren't our doing, They represent living. All the problems one faces is really not about the problem itself but about how one deals with it. Many times we are confronted with problems we cannot solve, but the measure of us, as humans and individuals, is not in the solution, but in the dealing.
