When I met Lucy and you in Nashville, you two sounded just like I had imagined you would sound.

Most of the time, when meeting an internet friend for the first time, I am pleased to see they are and sound much like I had visualized them from online. Often, if I didn't like them much online, a personal meeting just confirms that, and I find them as annoying in person as online.
I also hear the voices and the laughter in the voice when I read things from folks I have met........... and have mentally assigned voices to those I have not met.
As for sounds that I like.... one of my favorites is the sound of ocean...... and the night sounds out here in the country. Sadly, I may not get to experience the first one anymore, but I can enjoy the latter any night I want.

Did you expect that mischievous, teasing smirk and tone of voice? That wide eyed innocent look when he asks an uncomfortable question, again and again until he gets an answer and then chuckles? Or was it just me that he tormented like that?
I still here that in his "voice" here in the blogs.

Well I never thought of describing someone's voice (hmmm). Now let me see... both Fossil (met he and Lucy a few times) and mrsjoe, whom I've met once were exactly as I pictured them! Great people!!

That is exactly how I have imagined your voice to sound. Maybe someday, I will get to hear it in person.

Oh, how wonderful that would be! But age and physical capabilities have really put a damper on those big old bashes...... and travel in general for a lot of us.
Remember that old song about "those wedding bells are breaking up that old gang of ours"? For us, it is more like funeral bells, and achy joints.

Oh I almost forgot... I also met Bob & his lovely wife.

Most Americans (especially here on SFF) imagine me having a French accent but I don't have an accent at all. Well that is unless you're not accustomed to a Canadian accent (as an American ...lol).
