You must have been surrounded by protective angels. They know you are special.

Welcome home!!!

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

God answers prayers and there were a lot of them being said for you and Lucy and our other friends in Florida........ and for everyone in Florida in general.
The damage was really bad in many areas, but not nearly as devastating as it looked like it was going to be when Irma was first bearing down on Florida.
I think all our SFF friends in Florida and Georgia have checked in, one way or another, and all are safe.
BTW, how was traveling with a dog and three cats who do not like each other? Did they grow closer and are now friends?

I didn't find this earlier and glad you are both ok.

The pictures you posted look like many homes we have been seeing here in our area of Georgia.

We lost power for 3 days and it came back on around 6 am on the fourth day. LOTS of winds and rain. We never lost our water so that was a good thing. Unfortunately we have an all electric house. Fortunately I have a lot of candles of all sizes. We ate out a few times and were going to use the gas grill to cook some meat. The neighbor brought us 4 boneless pork chops. We had bags, lots of bags of ice for the freezer and refrigerator. We did finish our half gallon of ice cream...drank it!

Glad to hear you came out relatively unscathed :- ) Devastating for those who bore the brunt of Irma's fury (shame on opportunistic looters).
