 Syd Barrett's increasing mental instability, apart from concerning, is/was such a shame - too much 'acid' and/or bad 'trips'? 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond', one of my favourite tracks, was a tribute to him wasn't it? Brilliant collaboration of individuals whose innovative approach took music to another direction/thrilling dimension .
