Why, you onery old Fossil.......... you know darn well why I kept saying "Cock of the Walk" and you kept egging it on. rofl. Meeting you, Lucy, Alpha, and Shertj thrilled Joe and me so much.... after all these years of interacting online, to finally meet you all.......... and find you to be as fun and funny in person as you are online was wonderful. To have those of you who were instrumental in starting the bashes at the last one was like a circle closing on itself. It seemed sort of poetic. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Nice blog Fossill...I give you kudos for that. I guess I missed out on the last organized bash in Nashville. Where I live it is two days of travel to get to Nashville. That would be going and coming back. But glad to hear you all had a great time. Some of these people go back to my early days on SFF. I am sure the crying towel was passed around before you all left.

There are no bashes in Florida anymore, and so this last one in Nashville appears to be the last BIG bash ever. There will still be weekend meet and greets at various places, but the era of the big bash is over.  Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I am so happy that you and your wife got to attend the last big bash, it was one I really wanted to go to, but the way things are around here lately, I'm lucky to escape my house for more than a couple hours at a time. Thank you for sharing your first bash experience with us, but what does "Cock of the Walk" mean, or should I ask Pat?

Great blog, Jack!! I know exactly what you mean about Mr & Mrs Joe... great people whom I've also met a few years ago in FL. Of course I've also had the pleasre of meeting you and Lucy back in 2007 at my very first FL bash. I saw the Nash bash pics on FB and so many familiar faces but also those of people I had not met but would have liked to. You all appeared to be having such a fantastic time!! Thanks for sharing!!

I have never been to a bash so I dont really know anyone except people I know from blogs , but I did meet some Irish and UK members.Alfie and Ann were absolutely great. I would love to meet some more, but I dont image it will happen now as I believe this was the last one.

Hey Fossil, It's Spunky aka Suellen, not Larry. My computer has been in the shop and who knows when it will be coming back? Maybe when it does it will work better and I can come back to SFF and FB. Ducky had promised us a surprise. WOW! I had no idea it would be such a great one! When I heard you and Lucy were standing there with me, I was surprised. Fighting off the tears, all the years I wanted to attend the Florida bashes but was busy raising my child. Guess I've been here for a very long time. (2002) You and your beautiful Lucy will always have someone who loves you. Ooo and by the way, Larry enjoyed meeting you and Lucy also!
