Fossil, thank you for this blog.

Having been there on 6 different occasions with 3 providing shore bombardment and 3 repairing electronic equipment in outlying areas. I am so thankful I was (to my knowledge) ever exposed.

The folly of youth!

I have a friend here in Edmonton who joined the US army in the mid-60's at age 19 and did his stint in Nam.

He still suffering the consequences of that decision.
