Hi Prisci: A couple of reasons I think people fear hundreds of thousands of those refugees coming into their country. It's not that they don't care about their suffering, but the refugees don't have money or jobs and probably only speak their own native language and are not even employable, so who's going to pay for hundreds of thousands of people's food, housing, clothing, furniture, health care, language lessons etc etc?

The Hungarian leader was the first one I heard say this out loud..........he says he is sorry for the refugees but to be totally honest, his people don't want thousands more Muslims in their country.

The problem with refugees as I see it, and I am an excellent example, is that they come in, get educated, and then take jobs away from the natives.

I arrived in Canada at age six, got a good education as did both of my brothers.

We all got good paying careers that lasted for decades.

That means three Real Canadians had to accept lesser positions.

Is that fair?
