True, you have a right to block. I don't understand why some people get so upset about it.

I see it as a matter of choice, like sports. I am a swimmer, ET a golfer, Rent a bike rider etc. Some choose to sit rather than participate. If I tried to swim on a golf course I would no doubt be ceremonious removed. I doubt that my swim club would allow ET to bat golf balls or rent ride his bike in the pool.

This blog site offers both private and public forum. That is why they give us the right to limit or nor as we see fit. Not everyone will agree with, like or enjoy everyone else. The goal of the site is to make money, not provide us with anything.

I both agree and disagree with what you wrote. Yes, you definitely have the right to block people. SFF gives you that right. What you wrote about the person being blocked did something wrong, that may/may not be true. When I first started blogging here, I agreed with a comment someone made regarding freedom of speech. I didn't know anyone here yet so nobody should have formed an opinion on me yet, to dislike/like me. The member proceeded to attack me. I explained why I agreed with freedom of speech and apologized if I offended her in any way, as that wasn't my intention. She removed my latter comments and blocked me. I won't take any blame for being banned from someone who had no reason to attack/block me.

You have a right to block, just as others have a right to respond to whatever blogs they like.

I find it amusing that those who dislike the block feature will write blogs or make comments criticizing those who respond to Leaf's blogs, belittling them with hopes of driving them off - or at the very least intimidating them into no longer addressing his blogs.
