Chuck has that. After a year of so of multiple injections similar to what you have had hey eventually did surgery which helped somewhat but he still has some pain and limitation.

My cat, on the other hand has the feline version and gets a systemic shot every 4 - 6 weeks which take care of things. Unfortunately the vet says the cat / human metabolic systems are different so it won't work for humans.

Too bad you aren't a cat!

I hope the results happen soon. In the mean time, enjoy your popcorn!

OMG Knx, sorry sorry to hear that. I've heard a lot about steroid injections but if that's all you've got & it helps then it's wonderful. Have you tried seeing a chiropractor? Just wondering....

Hi Knx: I really hope the injection will help. I herniated two discs in my lower back just cleaning my oven, then after a year in pain I had surgery but it didn't help the pain at all. Then I had a series of 12 painful injections which is called "Prolotherapy" but that didn't help either.

I think your health updates are among the best blogs in the group so hope you continue writing them. You have lots of friends here who care about you.

Sounds like a very painful complaint. Best wishes for the future, I hope the treatment works.
