Another Followup to Destruction of Trump's Star

It appears that our lightweight misogynist has only part of the story about the destruction of Donald Trump's star accurate.

First the correct part. James Otis (an activist and heir to the Otis Elevator fortune) did in fact surrender to police after he claimed to have destroyed the star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

The second correct part is that Mr. Otis said he wanted to auction the star to provide funds to the victims of Donald Trump's alleged sexual assaults.

Now for the incorrect part. The perpetrator also said that he wanted to provide part of the proceeds from the sale of the star, had he been successful, to "'George Washington Republicans against sexual assault"

Apparently Mr. Otis is a republican by virtue of his intended disbursement of funds. Additionally it appears that "Mr. Light in His Loafers" has not told the truth in his attribution of blame.

This election has really brought out the worst in people. You see the angry crowd of yahoos at Trump's rallies calling for violence and it is scary to think those people are out walking the streets with so much false information and hate in their hearts. I blame all of this on Trump, but think Mr. Otis was so wrong destroying Trump's star. Owners and tenants in buildings with the Trump name on them are petitioning to have his name removed from their buildings, unflattering 'art' statues of Trump have been installed on busy city streets, golf tournaments at his clubs are being cancelled, people are not booking rooms in his hotels. I don't think a political candidate, no matter how disgusting he is and what a horrible hate-filled campaign he ran, should have his livelihood destroyed just because he ran for office and failed to get elected, otherwise no successful business person would risk running for office.
