Why Donald Trump is the Face and the Voice of the republican party

I have contended for over a year that Donald Trump was the face and the voice of the republican party. Even when there were 15 other candidates I stood by my assessment. Sadly, some like Listz took exception to my pronouncement. Equally as sad is the fact that he (LIstz) was proven wrong time after time.

He did not agree with my pronouncement even after Trump made egregious racist and bigoted comments. He did not agree with my assessment even when Trump laid his competitors out like wheat ready for the reaper. Sadly Listz was wrong...he continued to be wrong. He remains delusional today.

He did not think that Donald Trump was the face and the voice of the republican party even as Trump clearly evidenced misogyny at every turn...perhaps Listz doesn't recognize it in others because he exhibits the same trait here on SFF.

Why did I believe Trump was the face and voice of the republican party over a year ago? The reasons are easily ascertainable for anyone who possesses any sense about politics. My reasons are that first and foremost republicans have been peddling the fable of voter fraud for years...all in an attempt to depress voter turnout. There have been only 31 cases of voter fraud found in one billion votes case over a fourteen year period. Yet Trump is continuing to do what he has seen republicans do for years. He is the embodiment of republican words and actions.

Furthermore, Trump is the manifestation of insidious racism inherent in the republican party. He started the birther nonsense and no matter how much evidence was produced to disprove his allegations. Conservatives, like Listz continued to try to discredit the first African American President. Perhaps Listz chooses to forget the racism when it occurred because of the racism that exists near his home.

To continue, Trump is the face and the voice of the republican party because party leaders like Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan and many others have observed the misogyny, racism, bigotry and hatred emanating from Donald Trump and said nothing....nothing to divorce themselves from their true leader.

Why do I say "their true leader"? I say this from a standpoint of discernible fact. A recent poll found 61% of registered republicans favor Trump over Ryan.

Listz apparently wants to believe pipe dreams and opinions rather than what republican voters really say. Those pipe dreams and opinions do not make Donald Trump anything other than the face and the voice of the republican party.

His Gettysburg address.....what a place for a speech, and what a creepy dictator Trump would be. He is so arrogant that he just can't accept losing, so will promise anything at this point. How on earth will he ever deal with hundreds of Members of Congress? They're probably all terrified at this point because he's made it clear that if anyone of either party dares to cross him in any way, he'll either publicly humiliate them, sue them, or throw them in jail.
