Breitbart and Maisie

I had never visited the website Breitbart dot com until Donald Trump selected the leader of Breitbart dot com as the CEO of his campaign. It was after Trump's decision that I decided to ascertain for myself why Trump had made this choice. Granted this is the fourth or fifth change in his campaign leadership...but this one was touted as being a pivot of sorts.

Needless to say, I was appalled at what I found on that site. Then I began to reflect on what I had heard people like Maisie had said in some of her rants on this site. Honestly, it is no secret, that I have found her rants, misguided as they often are, to be offensive; divorced from reality and not reflective of the America I know and love.

It was when I reflected on the odd correlation of Maisie's rants and those found on Breitbart dot com that things began to make some sense. Not that either Breitbart dot com or Maisie make sense but, instead, I found where some of the misguided and untrue positions originated.

What did I find on Breitbart dot com? I found articles with odd titles. One of those titles was " Would you rather your had feminism or cancer"? Another "Birth Control Makes Women Unattractive and Crazy". Still another, "Man Takes Photographs in Women's Bathroom Because of New Laws?"

Fact checking the basis of these articles found that there was no basis to the claims made.

Yet Trump surrounds himself with these people and Maisie has a long history of denigration of women (odd since she is female) and defending the outward display of insidious racism in the case of the Confederate Flag...not to mention her ongoing rants about transgender individuals and the NC "bathroom law".

"Alt Right" is the current term used to describe the racist, bigoted and extremist element in this country. They advocate "white supremacy" and they have effectively taken over the republican party.

These are not normal republicans that we have come to know. Donald Trump is not a "normal republican" in the same sense of Bob Dole, Geo W Bush or John McCain. Yet the republican party has, for the most part, remained silent regarding the extremist and racist positions Trump has taken.

I told republicans on this site that Trump was the face and the voice of the republican party over a year ago. Listeria said I was wrong. Oddly and sadly my prediction has become reality. Do any republicans on this site stand up and disallow Trump's comments? Sadly, none have.

Maisie doesn't write "political blogs"...she writes only of her hatred of Liberalism. That's where her "thinking" begins and ends.

Every blog she writes is just an extremely biased rant against her particular hatreds. She'd vote "Blessed for President" if she thought it would stop a Democrat.

Amazing that all of her wee gang have said they won't vote Trump since he advocated the use of nuclear weapons. That really embarrassed them! They're so afraid people will hate them as much as they hate others.

That's why Liszt wrote his blog on "Racism/ bigotry in SFF"

Pity he can't see it within himself.
