Of note

Most reasonable people are probably bothered by the tragedy of the recent shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs. Then there are those that probably are not bothered at all and in their silence become advocates for this type of violence.

The shooter said "no more baby parts"...apparently derived from the now discredited video that conservatives released attacking Planned Parenthood. That video, if you will recall, addressed the matter of tissue harvesting from aborted fetuses. First of all, later analysis of the video showed that it had been heavily edited and was misleading...intentionally so, I might add. In addition republican Presidential candidate Ben Carson engaged in tissue harvesting during his medical career.

In addition the shooter made comments about President Obama. By all accounts he is a disturbed man...no doubt about that.

What is equally as disturbing to me is that none of the republican Presidential candidates has made any mention of the shooting. They have not condemned it for the atrocity that it was. In failing to address this tragedy they have become unwitting allies...accomplices and advocates, if you will, to this act.

 Actually, I've seen comments from Fiorino, Carson, and probably the best on topic was from Mike Huckabee. I'm also told Ted Cruz was one of the first to comment, but I haven't seen that one yet.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz made a similar claim to yours, but I assume that was because even she hadn't seen the comments either.

If the media doesn't report it, then I can't say for certain they were silent.

Most of us on the right detest the actions of people like this shooter committed, because it only serves to extend the time it will take to defund Planned Parenthood. Thus for every crime like this, more fetuses will be aborted due to the socio-political tide moving back months or years from any progress the right has made on the issue to date.

This shooter is a fool who has harmed the Pro-Life movement MUCH more than he's helped it. As a result, thousands more babies will die.

They took their time responding...they were apparently conflicted between playing to their base or expressing outrage at the outcome of the way that they influenced the shooter with their heavily edited and misleading video
