 I have told Alfie many times I wish we could go west so he could see some of the scenery and western states.

We were in the north Georgia mountains and took a tour of a gold mining town. Did you know gold was discovered in Dalonega, Georgia 20 years before it was discovered in California? They explained eastern mountains are "old mountains", gentle and smooth with lots of greenery, western mountains are "new mountains", rugged and with sights like the picture.
