......Thanks Canada on your day today for sharing with us the longest undefended border in the World. For giving us Ice Hockey, for the wonderful products you provide us, for your undestanding of us, for sharing all you have, for being a neighbor, but most of all for driving on the right side of the road because I find it very hard to visit your beautiful country otherwise......LOL

Your fair Dominion now extends
From Cape Race to Nootka Sound
May peace forever be your lot
And plenty a store abound
And may those ties of love be yours
Which discord cannot sever
And flourish green for freedom's home
The Maple Leaf Forever.

Alexander Muir

....Wouldnt it be grand to have a car that runs on water. Oh yeah? what if we have a drought?

Thank you 60minman, a wonderful posting! May your July 4th be just as happy. But driving on the right-hand side of the road? Of course we do; just because we are still part of the British commonwealth doesn't mean we'd change our driving habits LOL!

Thank you for recognizing our Day. May yours be as great and happy for you. And as for the driving on the right hand side of the road. No problem. But just to let you know, depending on what part of the country you plan to visit, just be careful as some folks tend to think we are actually in England. More specifcally my part of the country. Not sure why they think that but hey we still have some odd folks around about here.

Shertj and I visited Ottawa twice, and on the second trip we celebrated Oh Canada Day with Canadian friends. What a good time we had. And wow, do Canadians ever know how to party!
