.....To me baseball is "THE" Sport. When attending a game the first thing one notices that there is no clock. Unlike the other major American sports. Time is not a regulating factor. Well neither is the other "Sport" You know the sport this site is all about. All guys like to "score", they even don't mind just getting to "first base" but of course the goal is a "Home Run". Bill Clinton always enjoyed just getting to "Third base", never had to worry about "Knocking one out (up) of the the park". We use baseball metaphors all the time to describe our relationship encounters. She threw me a "curve", I "struck out" on my last date...My buddy called he was sick so I had to "pinch hit" for him on a blind date........Perhaps one of David Letterman's top ten of top ten list's was his baseball sexual euphemisms top ten list: 10. Working the rosin bag 9. Comebacker 8. Charging the mound 7. Riding the pine 6. Jerking one into the seats 5. Coming from behind 4. Doubleheader 3. Going deep in the hole 2. The big unit 1. Visiting Busch Stadium
...So remember Baseball just like relationships is not about winning or losing, striking out or scoring, it all about how you play the "GAME"......
