I have a cord of wood cut from fallen limbs on my property. Got the wood stove inspected as I do every year, but the weather has not been cold enough to really use the stove. And I am going to shut my mouth right there, just to stave off any cold spells that might be waiting to prove me wrong.

I appreciate what you've had done there. It's very satisfying to see the trees trimmed and to have wood to burn. The splitting is fun too.

Hi Ray,

Thank you for the shots and the explanations. That last pic is real scary.

I remember helping split logs with a log splitter. It took very little time to make a huge pile of split logs.

Your photos are encouraging. I have a huge tree very close to my house that is dying and has to come down. Needlessly to say I am a bit apprehensive about it.
