A wonderful day. Wonderful that he has been able to spend his remaining time in his own environment.

What a great opportunity to be able to have him home. Many aren't able to do that.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

A day to treasure, for sure! And making music, too.

I knew a doctor who, when we asked him how long an ill relative could expect to live, said kindly and repeatedly that he had no idea, and no interest in trying to predict that. A wise man.

MySeek that is so wonderful that Gene was able to pay the banjo. It must have brought a lot of joy to him. So happy for you both that you are able to spend this time together in a tranquil place. Big hugs to you both!

Everything ends, but you will see him again and meanwhile, he's living life with so much vigor, it really is a joy to vicariously hear him play the banjo!
