This happened to me as well. I caught the bird, pu it sitting in a towel i n the birdhouse, and eventually when it had recovered, it just flew away. Good luck

We get that happen a lot here and generally just leave them laying there until they show signs of recovery. They mostly do, but over the years a few have never recovered. It looks like a thrush to me and I hope it gets over this and flies away. Please let us know.

Hi Seek: How upsetting that must be. You feel so helpless and don't know how to help. A bird flew into my glass balcony door and I didn't know if it was unconscious or dead. I never cry anymore but I started crying and couldn't stop so I got a neighbour and he came over and took it away. In Toronto it's a law that all the office towers have to have a special kind of glass that the birds can see and don't fly into.
