Great news. Did they tell you how long the injection will work? My mother had severe arthritic knee pain in both knees and had Synvisc injections. The pain was gone immediately and it is supposed to last up to two years.

Thanks for that info. In my mother's case, it was just one injection per knee. The first time they injected one knee and it worked immediately.
They had told her to stop taking her blood thinner medication three days before having an injection, but when she went back to have the second knee done she forgot to stop taking her blood thinner pill. She had so much pain in her knee that she didn't tell them she hadn't stopped taking her blood thinner medication and had the injection anyway, but that time the Synvisc didn't work.
