Uuh! I loved Cary Grant! ❤

Interesting selection Doug (yours) :- ). Perhaps from an earlier era (silent films?) Charles Laughton (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and a little later? Basil Rathbone (Sherlock Holmes) are two who made a lasting impression. Contemporary actors - can't really think of any who have created a strong impression except Jon Voigt in 'Deliverance' [personal favourite film/movie along with 'A Clockwork Orange' and 'Lord of the Flies']. Thanks for your responses in 'favourite actresses' blog

Hi Doug: I was surprised when two famous actors, Laurence Olivier and Anthony Quinn, were each asked who they thought was the best male actor of all time, and they each said Mickey Rooney. I had an offer to have a small non-speaking part in a movie filmed in Toronto starring Anthony Quinn in what turned out to be his last movie. I had just won a small dance contest in real life, and the movie people approached me with the offer. I didn't take the part but I was to be a woman Quinn meets in a bar and we were to dance together.
