Getting older does not usually change people. What we are just clarifies and intensifies. If you were a positive person you ill likely remain so.

Hi Doug: There are times in my life where I am so sick and tired of politics and religion I can't even stand thinking about them any more, then other times I can't seem to get enough of either of them.

I used to go to work every day in an office tower right smack in the middle of possibly the busiest part of the biggest city in Canada, but now that I'm retired I'm soooo glad I don't have to be around so many people.

Hi Doug,

I just finished two books by Jeanette Walls - The Glass Castle & Half Broke Horses. The Glass Castle is a memoir. I have one other book by Walls that I will have to wait to read. Currently I'm taking computer classes so my reading is mostly textbooks.

I do have a book on my nightstand by Ed Breslin - Drinking with Miss Dutchie. I love any books with or about dogs.

I avoid political or religious discussions. This is one of the main reasons I don't frequent blogland as often. I get tired of all the drama. LOL

I often listen to music on Pandora while I'm studying.

Good to see you bloging.
