So Sick of It!! I am so sick of these nasty blogs, if you can't fight over politics then lets make a few personal attacks.... not a very attractive look on some bloggers especially some that identify themselves as Christians.... really.... its embarrassing.... maybe you need to go back to your Bible and read what it says about how we are to use our words.... Then there are those that write their little nasty biting blogs under the guise of just "being cute" and people should just not take it personally.... "its all in good fun" it seems everyone is fair game. I have been seeing these blogs over and over for months now... and I have tried very hard to hold my opinion, but I for one am sick of it!! With everything that is happening around the world right now... war on many fronts, the US involved in much of it and we might be dragged into even more... innocent people being blown up daily.... the threat of war moving closer to the US.... I mean people, please grow up and stop playing your stupid childish games or trying to feed your ego by cutting others down.... I will be the first to admit that I may not be the most eloquent writer here and that is ok because my words come from my heart.... what the hell ever happened to people being nice and considerate to one another.... try to lift those that need it and be united instead of acting like a pack of wolves ready to take down whoever you deem to be beneath you.... I have been a member of this site for probably 5 yrs or more now.... although there are many members that I enjoy chatting with and those few blogs that are a joy to read... I am wondering if it is time for me to leave..... |

Definitely not my level of communicating but those who perpetuate it must enjoy it. The people I enjoy here make the ignoring easier although I have to admit that the past few months have required far more picking and choosing and even banning of those who insist on bring their stuff in where it is not welcome. I concur Pink. Although I am a relative newcomer, the insults and viciousness still both surprises and saddens. Some of same spills over into the chat rooms and it seems SFF 'veterans' amongst the worst offenders, using their personalities and/or popularity to shore support ~ unpleasant bullying.

Its horrible to be a target. I often wonder why Im still here. Best way isnto say nothing at all, unless you know and respect the blogger.

Hi Pink: Just when things seemed to be calming down in the blogs after all the fighting, now it's starting up again. Are the same people fighting again this time? In almost every blog, one or more of the replies is mean and insulting, yet no-one says anything about that so it's been going on for ages now. No wonder no-one writes about their lives or feelings here anymore.

I love it because it demonstrates what a fine chap I am compared all those nasty people. My self esteem requires constant refurbishing, and this is one place to get it.

I find it interesting that a post about people getting nasty, has gotten nasty. Not your fault, pinkpaws1, but it's unlikely fighting on these blogs will end anytime soon. I noticed it from the time I started blogging here a couple of months ago. Luckily the good things about this site outweigh the bad. There are some genuinely nice people here so despite the negativity, it's been a positive experience. Elaine Shuel
