Plaid

My family updated the saying "Orange is the new black" to "Paid is the new black". Yesterday most of the younger ones were wearing plaid flannel shirts. My niece says this is the "look" this season. We won't be able to separate the country folks from the city folks this year. Too bad I didn't keep my old truck driving clothes.

Nice pic, Spirit. It makes me smile because I still had (last year) a flannel shirt which I wore years ago, I loved it a lot, LOL but it didn't fit me anymore.

I have a couple of things that are at least 30 years old. I do have some currently stylish things but tend to have my unique style that is neither in or out of fashion. You know us eccentric types.

They are part of my family - daughters, 1 grand, nieces, their significant others, nephew and brother in law on the right. You would enjoy most of them as other than one of the significant others all are artists of some sort. Helping the become successful adults is and has been the joy of my life.

Hard to convince the girls of that. Clothes don't count unless they come from the right store.

I used to have multiple cats. When we brought any new clothes into the house they would add their scents if I didn't put them away right away. Really discouraged the teens from leaving things around.

They work very well as an overshirt when it is cold.

I think we all have things that fit that criteria!

Thank you
Back in my truck driving ways flannel shirts were a daily thing. These days I wear either embroidered denim shirts of cotton Mexican shirts, all of which have been embroidered. I call my new ones "blank canvases".
