One of my most memorial family events was the time when one of the younger ones was actively participating in the drug culture my daughter's significant other was going through the police academy. It turned out much better than I thought it could. Even though you would think it would be like attending an SFF discussion group about politics they were able to put their stuff aside and hopefully came away with a better understanding of the humanness common to all.
