Photo Monday - More Dia De Los Muertos One of the traditional decorations for Dia De Los Muertos is painted skulls. They can be decorated with any image but the usual ones found in shops are variations of Talavara patterns. Last year I actually bought one on Olivera St in LA but decided that this year I would create my own. For these 2 I used Huichol symbols as well as some abstract designs. I have a cojple of smaller ones that I could paint and add to the collection but at the moment I have no inspiration about them. Earlier today these 2 joined Senor Huesos out front. My goals for decorations on this theme are completed - on time yet. Spiritwoman ^i^ |

Can you believe I found it and a matching storage unit at a discount store for next to nothing? When I was in MA we stayed at a place that had done the bathroom floors in a similar pattern. Gave me some ideas that my mind says do it but the body says "You've got to be kidding!" Spiritwoman ^i^
