One With Nature

Saturday I did the ceremony and ashes scattering for my sister's companion. This was done in the same area as last month's wedding. I am amazed at how in sync both of these events were with nature. Some will remember my post at the time of the wedding about how the sun came out and gave us the picture perfect wedding setting.

Saturday the weather was just as appropriate. The Atlantic was cold and angry. The surf was so strong I thought I was back on CA except it was a out 50 degrees with a huge wind chill factor. The only surfer in the water was a seal that did a major wipe out. The sky was dark and threatening.

I do not know why these synchronicities should surprise me since my spiritual beliefs include being one with nature but they always do.

Attached is a photo of the north Atlantic and a poem written on the spot by a talented writer / screen writer friend.

Amazing that this was written before your sister's companion passed. Perfect for the occasion.

A very moving piece of poetry, the writer must be very talented to write that on the spot.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

My sister likes the angry stormy ocean as well. I prefer sun and warmth but this was appropriate.

He is. I haven't seen a lot of his work but he manages to make a good living from it.

Actually he wrote it on the spot, just before we did the ceremony.
