Burning Bridges

There comes a time when burning bridges is necessary.
Both sides of the issue.

The duo, White Horse, have a new album out titled 'Leave No Bridge Unburned.

Great sound!!!!

Sometimes it's difficult to decide which bridges to burn..... sighhhh. But if you give it a bit of time, it usually becomes very evident!

Thanks for this blog Spiritwoman. Sometimes it's really difficult to decide which one to burn, just as Rocket has mentioned above.
Enjoy your weekend.
Lisa.

Giving the situation time is something I have done whenever possible. So many things resolve themselves or become non issues with a little of space.

It is a difficult thing to determine. I try not to do it all at once. First I change the freeway overpass to a 2 lane country road. If that doesn't work I change it to a swinging rope pedestrian bridge. Only if that doesn't work do I cut the bridge loose.

it takes a lot for me to completely burn the bridge but I found that backing off in increments works better for me. Most people get the message and if they truly want to remain connected they will understand that things have changed and will either work on resolving things or let things simply die a natural death.

I'm sure that at our age we have all burned a few bridges in our time.
