Photo Monday - The Volunteer I noticed this little plant growing in the crack of a the neighbor's cement driveway.. It is a daisy type climate appropriate ground cover. They and I both have some of these plants in our yards. I have a few volunteers myself but they are growing in the flower beds and none have any blossoms. This usually takes a couple of seasons. . This one chose a place where little grows. The neighbors drive in and out daily but this little plant is in the middle of the driveway so misses the vehicle wheels. Spiritwoman ^i^ |

That is interesting. Reminds me a of Oxalis, a weed here. Back in Massachusetts my grandmother had one in pot and that was the only one I ever saw. Spiritwoman ^i^

Most of my "volunteers" this year have been tumbleweeds. When I drug the one I turned into a Christmas tree home it left lots of seeds behind. Those things will sprout up everywhere. Spiritwoman ^i^

Good reminder for the rest of us. If a little plant can do it we humans certainly should be able to. Spiritwoman ^i^

I will attach the photo and send it to via email. I'm not sure how it will enlarge but you can give it a try. Spiritwoman ^i^
