Swimming With The Sharks
I got to enjoy my afternoon at the pool yesterday and swim with the sharks. The shark tank is a 3 story cylinder with a swimming area circles the pool. There is a clear tube water slide that goes through the pool. I did not try the slide. Too claustrophobic for me but I did get to swim all around the that tank. There are also lounge chairs sitting in the water so people can enjoy the water and watch the fish.

My winning streak did not last but I did not do that bad as bad as I might have. By the end of last night I reached the point where I could no longer stand the noise and activity in the busy casino and still had some of my gambling budget left - just enough to get coffee and a pastry at Starbucks.

Actually it was one of the smaller ones in downtown rather than the bog ones on the strip but even at that I can only take a limited amount of exposure. It took me years to be able to even stand walking through that much sensory stimulation.

Interesting. I am the opposite. When I was young I couldn't even go into a casino. When I married my second husband who loved Vegas I managed to tag along with him little by little. After he passed I went with a friend and was able to get to where I am now - casino for a couple of hours, a break, then maybe another hour or so but that is about it.

Always a good tome on Vegas. Most people know it for gambling but there are so many things to do it would be hard not to have fun.
