Photo Monday - Roads

I've been on so many roads all over the world on this adventure called life. My initial journey took me from coast to coast. I was born and grew up on the east coast represented by the first photo taken last year on my sisters get together, Times Square in NYC. The other was taken a couple of years ago at Mugu Rock on Pacific Coast Highway, the area I keep returning to no matter what other road I explore. You may recognize it from the numerous movies and TV shows that include it in some way.

For now my journey puts me at #3, the road I live on and #4, one of our private sort of roads at the lake.

Roads much traveled, I especially like the last one, it looks like my kinda place.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

I like the different roads you have shown. Quite diverse.

Great pictures Spirit! I like best the number 2 foto, feeling free to everyone. Love it.

They are where most of my time is spent these days. 2 days a week tops in town, which is a typical suburban city, then it's back out here. Not sure what lies down the road but this is it for now.

Love the street scene.......Would love to teleport to there for a few hours.........I miss the big city until I have to go there.
There are things I like and don't like about both. Fortunately I am pretty ok in either, although these days the last 2 are where I spend most of my time.

Nice photos, like the last one best only because I love to be near water.
Me too. Water has always been one of the things I love. I live within sight of a river, but at the moment there is no water in it.

PCH is part of El Camino Real, a sonic highway that runs along the entire coast. It is all beautiful and peaceful. When I was younger I spent a lot of time driving along the beach, getting my perfect straight.

I don't think I would want to live in the city again but do like to visit for fun, especially NYC. No place quite like it.

As I get older I spend more and more time in the places less traveled. Not planned. It just happened but i'm good with it.

Unfortunately no WiFi at the moment. You could climb to the top of the water tower and use cell data services. The kids do this regularly. The only time I ever did that was to call n help when a vehicle went over the side.
