My Aura Previously I did a couple of posts about the unusual energy my body emits and how this effects electronics. Here's another Earlier today I was photographing some items I want to include on my website (Yes, I am finally getting it together and doing some serious work on it). Not being much of a photographer and rather clumsy with electronic devices I managed to snap a pic of my knee. When I checked the camera all it was was a bright aura. I was really excited as I have to work at seeing auras, let alone photograph them. I see a new painting here! Of course my nurse sister had to put a practical twist on it suggesting that it was probably arthritis showing.  Spiritwoman ^i^ |

Was it just an ordinary shot you accidentally took of your knee and the above pic is the result spirit? Very unusual if so. I would be interested in your interpretation of the bright aura [meaning]. Thanks.

Was it just an ordinary shot you accidentally took of your knee and the above pic is the result spirit? Very unusual if so. I would be interested in your interpretation of the bright aura [meaning]. Thanks. Explanation? I think it has to do with my spiritual / neurological alternative wiring. I have always had an enhanced range of visual and auditory frequency perception so feel it extends to emission as well. I have several other photos taken of me with unexplained orbs and even flashes of light. One in particular shows light literally pouring over me. The person taking the photo did not see anything unusual. He was taking an action shot of me taking a picture. At times when I am in extreme distress things happen like cell phones being disrupted, the TV turning off on it's own and the electricity in my area going on and off. When I helped install CB radios the RF meter would spike when I adjusted the antenna. I would have to make the adjustment then back off while someone read the meeter. A native American friend says he see my spirit as being large. I joke about it telling people who have witnessed some of these things "Have you ever seen the movie "Carrie". Just don't piss me off." My final thoughts are that these are physical manifestations of my Strega practices but then I wonder what came first - the energies or my system for understanding and defining them. Spiritwoman ^i^

Pat and I have fun with this - Her "dark side" talking to my "bad kid". In addition to displaying the kinds of work I do "on commission" my web site will include a section for discussion of things like auras etc. Like a blog section only focused and limited to serious discussion and sharing of mutual interests and should things get out of hand I will be able to limit who can participate to creating the need to log on with a password. I will send you info when I get it up and going. I'm estimating 2 - 3 weeks to implementation of the first version. This has been a "dream" of mine for a couple of years but I have been slow in buckling down and dealing with the technical aspects of it's development. Not saying I procrastinated but I have owned the domain for almost 2 years and so far the only thing I have is a funky page saying the site is under construction and an e-mail that is not one of the regulars and ends with a country extension instead of a dot com. Definitely inflammation but as you said a regular camera does not capture that. This knee was seriously injured twice years ago and never completely healed. Of course advancing age and a strong genetic predisposition for arthritis has not improved things. the knee has been a bit visibly deformed since the injuries and with advancing arthritis is more so. I never get through a TSA body scanner without being taken aside for a pat down becasue the fact that my knees don's match is obvious on the scan. I think what the photo shows (although I can't explain the technical how) is the energy perhaps in the form of heat inflammation gives off. Even the colors are right for how it feels. It makes a great visual for explaining how arthritis and other inflammation feels. I am going to print the photos and share them with my own doctor and a friend who is an orthopedist. Spiritwoman ^i^

That's what I mean about belief "systems".........instead of a light phenomena, you believe you see auras because your belief system includes the existence of auras..........there must be a Country and Western song to explain it.....LOL Spiritwoman ^i^

A former boyfriend of mine was a psychologist in the prison system. He often found called into explosive situations where his job was to assess a man's psychological state very quickly......on the run so to speak............One day after an especially intense incident he went back to his office to debrief and calm down and write a report. In these reports he was expected to write down his assessments of the mens' psychological state and the behaviours, body language etc that led him to his conclusions. His reactions had to be so fast that he really had to go by instinct, but that would not be acceptable evidence to a review panel. He thought back to the incident and realized that he had been relying partly on the men's aura and that he used this constantly, even in his private life to assess mood..........He said that the inner the inner wrist was the "soft spot" that he used.....that the information he got from the wrist aura informed his assessment and was a great tool......and when used alongside the usual markers like body language, voice, skin colour etc.....it added a lot of information to his arsenal..... I'm hyper-vigilant because of my history so I am very accurate in assessing body-language and I tried for a while to see this wrist aura but I never have. My friend said that the brain connection that tells your conscious brain that the yes see the aura has been weakened by lack of use and can be strengthened with practice......... Sounds like dangerous territory to me.......trying to convince yourself to see something that your belief-system says is there........straying very close to brainwashing/psychosis territory.......self delusion is eminently possible ....and socially reinforced........religion even requires self-delusion for membership.....or, at least,the appearance of self delusion.........and has it's own warm and fuzzy name....faith........people have been murdering each other for eons for having the opposite self delusion. Other times like with the wrist aura I think people perceive things others don't in ways that have not been explained. They have to put words to it as in the case of your BF's reports. As my Jewish turned agnostic scientist engineer companion explains - he has seen things happen to me and around me that "have no scientific explanation". He simply leaves at that - that there are things that can not be explained with the knowledge we have. When I worked as a DFCS investigator I would simply "know" things about my cases. When things were unraveled I was always correct. Try explaining that one in court. usually I would be able to work backwards and reconstruct the story but thee were times when I had to let things go because there was no supporting information. That was frustrating enough to create massive "burn out" on that job. I still go with my energy theory. Different forms, different frequencies, different ways to perceive it and different expressions and explanation to describe it but it all boils down to the same - something our as yet limited knowlege does not understand. It's not the what but the how that we get hung up on. Spiritwoman ^i^
