Mystery Solved This is nothing compared to ET's hail damage but every day for the past week or so i kept finding bird poop on my car while it was in the car port. I looked around a few times and didn't see anything. The other day I saw a bird fly off from under edge of the roof when I opened the back door 2 or 3 times. I found the source of the poop. Another nest very late in the season. All of the other nests have hatched and flown off. Spiritwoman ^i^ |

Male blue birds are the worst. The acid content is so high it will stain your car if you don't remove it at once. They have also been known to break rear view mirrors because of seeing another blue bird during the hatching period. . The beginning of life, conception..

You are lucky it is only one nest, I had a van pull up beside me yesterday and it was covered (and I MEAN covered!) with bird poop. Ever since I saw it I have been wondering just where he parked it. Alfie...

The little guy looking for his dinner is just about as ugly as it gets but he did make me smile at his "cuteness" even through the poop. Spiritwoman ^i^

Yup - Mama bird. Having had several birds during my kids growing up years I can state this as an expert. One thing they are good at is pooping. Spiritwoman ^i^

We see all sorts of other poop here on a regular basis so when we see the "real thing" it makes us laugh. Spiritwoman ^i^

It is good for a laugh. I love watching nature and poop is just part of it. Now all I need to do is remember that when it gets thick on here and maybe I will get another laugh or 2. Spiritwoman ^i^

They do. I have lots of trees and plants, a virtual jungle in the desert, which attracts them because they feel safe and have a good source of food and water. Also likely my energy. Paganism is a nature based belief system and the "critters" seem to be able to sense our oneness with them. Spiritwoman ^i^
