More About Stalkers

It is very dangerous to plant an idea in my ADD brain. I have absolutely no control over where it will take me. Mostly I just stay quiet and wander. I dislike negativity so my natural tendency is to try to make a joke of things so smiles replace anger. Mostly that is how my mental ramblings go these days. Unfortunately people really wonder when I am sitting by myself giggling for no apparent reason.

While exchanging comments solitaire on her stalker blog I come up with an idea (flashing lights, warning sirens……. Extreme silliness in process). I suggested we might swap stalkers for a while to experience something different. I believe some are still into swapping although its popularity peaked in the late 70’s.

Then she pointed out that the stalker might be one and the same. I concurred. She suggested swapping them for something useful like a foot stool or trash can. I had a better idea. We both have cats so how about a pallet of kitty litter. Now we need to decide what kind. She suggested one that is expensive but highly effective in controlling odor. I agree. Since one of the stalkers likes to give any comment either of us makes a “disagree” vote I decided to ask for input. What kind of kitty litter should be get? Less of the good kind, more of the cheap stuff or forget it and fill the litter box with garden dirt?

How to save money on cat litter, Spirit. Our cat Hairee2, who lives on the back porch, uses dead leaves, I pile them up on some of the flower beds and she just gets amongst them. Have you though of using dead leaves? Doesn't get any cheaper than that.

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Dual odor sounds good. I'll have to check and see if it helps with pig odor. If so I might consider sharing with leaf to solve one of his problems.

Old newspapers used to work but these days I read the paper on my kindle. I doubt it would absorb much let alone eliminate odor.

I almost always do - although for the ADD brain happy is just as stimulating (for me even more so). Back in my days as a DFCS investigator I often got up and put the pieces of my cases together in the middle of the night. Today, when sleep is more critical for health there are meds that work when the brain just won't stop.

But - silly is fun and I still go there often.

Silly and being absurd are great coping mechanisms. I'm willing to bet you saw lots of that in your career as a nurse. Most of us that spent time in occupations where we saw and dealt with things no human should have to used humor as a pressure valve. It works.

Great ides - if we had trees to drop leaves. Leaf shedding trees are pretty scarce in my area.

Definitely the clumping kind. It's easier to clean up too. Take the clumps out and the rest is still good.

Interesting, isn't it, that people who profess not to like us won't simply stay away. I think people just express what they are really like when they can hide behind the computer. Years ago I felt sorry for those who are obviously unhappy and miserable but soon came to realize that they are in a situation or life of their own making. They have to first love and forgive themselves. If I were like some I see I might have a hard time doing that as well. Live gives some more crap than others, however some of the folks who have had the worst crap visited upon them are the happiest. It's not what happens to you but how you deal with it that makes the difference.
