Oh my goodness!!! I think that on the whole, women in general need to feel a closeness/affection/love for someone they are having sex with. For us, I think a major part of sex is between our ears, not our legs. I think that for many men this is not true.

I am definitely more picky now that I am older in every respect. Sex is much easier to find these days but the right person to enjoy it with is not. If all a woman wants is sex there are a number of good solutions available from the adult toy store. They come without all of the hassles of having to put up with the wrong man, particularly a younger wrong man. Spiritwoman ^i^

I really don't care with whom others chose to have a relationship. If it works for them, that's all that counts. I have two gal pals whose husbands are a good 15 years or so older. Both even 20 years later are still together and enjoying life.... and these fellows treat their wives like queens. In fact, some of our other friends wish their similar age husbands would treat them so well!!
