 It is no secret that Trump can be offensive thus the Boys Scouts should not have even invited him to speak at the Jamboree if they had a problem with it. He opted to simply write a letter for the Daughters of the American Revolution Continental Congress. Boy Scout policy is that POTUS is automatically an honorary member of the Boys Scout and FLOTUS is automatically an honorary member of the Girl Scouts. There is absolutely no way that Malania Trump will be a member of the DAR (honorary or otherwise) but we would much rather have her speak at our Continental Congress than #45.

Actually, the DAR is a lineage society and stays out of politics. Most of our speakers talk on Historical Subjects. I am sure that Melania Trump would have some very interesting insights to share about her unique background. I would much rather listen to Melania versus her husband's potty mouth.

Our current POTUS and FLOTUS are unique because most of our presidents and first ladies come from Colonial Era linage. (even the Obamas) Trump is first generation via mother's line and second generation via father's line.

I don't believe that Michelle Obama spent a lifetime hating America. That is ridiculous. I have found her to be a very informative, insightful speaker.
