Chat room and blog fighting This has been going on way to long. It's stupid. It's childish. It makes everybody look like idiots. I would like to apologize to any and everyone that I have offended in SFF. It's time to end this mess. Stop bringing up the past. No one wins at he said, she said. We don't need a winner. We don't need a loser. We need a truce. It won't happen over night but give peace a chance. Over look what the other side says or does. Maybe one day there will be a fight and nobody shows up. There are so many members caught up in this crap that a few may try to continue it. If so, don't pay any attention to them. Let it go in one ear and out the other. This used to be a fun place. It can be again. Stop the snide remarks. They come from both sides. Stop the tattle-tailing and banning. I hope everyone involved in this stupid crap will give peace a chance. Please join me in this. |

Aren't we at a time that we need to enjoy life and not make it more difficult? Some of our "friends" here have serious problems and could use a distraction like chat. Chat should be a fun, relaxing place to go....there are so many problems in the world...why add to it... Only we can make it a better place to be......

Bare, I'm praying your blog brings forth the onset of chat and blogs returning to the wonderful place it once was......... I'd "be IN", if only I could...(thats one thing I doubt will ever change) Spring is a time for "new beginnings"....."rebirth"......Let that spirit continue with this blog, and spread into the hearts and minds of each and everyone HERE!

I suggest all those who say they are in , go to malemotives blog and think about it's contents and the comments ... Shame , Shame on those who do this ,you want it to end , you have to speak up and say , this is wrong ...some of the comments and those who made them are a disappointment considering their claim for wishing for peace .. If you haven't read that blog , do so , and think about it objectively. ,

Nice blog bare. I'll always opt for peace first. However, I know there are people in this world who live for conflict and will create it everywhere they go. An insatiable appetite for control over others. I'm not referring to any specific people. There are usually some of this type on both sides. It's a wonderful plan and I am in the peaceful section with you, but please excuse me for sounding doubtful. I believe that in order for your plan to work, EVERYONE has to forget about how the thing started (most people don't know and care anyway because it's gone far beyond that)...and start a new slate on fresh ground. A lot of people have to mature and look deep into themselves. There are people who won't (or can't) do this (not in this life anyhow.) In the meantime, I'm choosing other things to do and different places to go to protect my own precious spirit and I come into SFF only for short times and to say hello to the ones who I care about and who care about me. I've been coming to this place to chat for 10 plus years now, and I miss the good times. Alas, everything changes. God bless for trying bare! PrairieSky

LOL, you are just too funny for words ...if the rockets continue to fall on us we won't leave en masse but may launch a missile. Are you tryin to frighten me?Of course I can only speak for myself but it sure would be nice to see peace but make no mistake , peace does not mean lying down and letting others walk all over . There was a blog done about Napoleon awhile back , you shoulda seen the outrage . never could understand why , it was just a story and not a name of anyone in SFF mentioned...but boy oh boy did some take offense .. you shoulda seen the screamin and hollerin , sure was funny .

bare I hope it does work and it is a good blog but will they really hush, I hope so. I do not take part in them but I sure have see some harsh words said. Everyone in here are grown people and some act like 7 year old kids. tic for tac. That should not happen. I come in the chat room to have fun and enjoy meeting people and sometime I have to leave because there is a feud going on. Thank bare for sure a good blog.

I agree with the mass of good people here. I just wonder how much a couple of people really want peace..Not much is my thoughts considering the comments from one of the ladies blasting DanDee..Calling him Preacher man and then continue blasting away... This same person bad mouthed another lady from Houston about her quoting Shakespeare, and then went at 2 others that same evening.. Seems pretty silly to me but man do they stretch a few words to make it a huge mountain..And it could be just a game to these ladies, nothing really serious to them but having some (crazy) fun... All in all there are a lot of very nice people here, I enjoyed the majority of my time here chatting, teasing and flirting... TC All! Dan

Tran, I didn't delete any post. If it was deleted, it had to be deleted by the poster. I feel that if I delete one, it would be looked at as I was taking sides. Everybody involved in this need to forget the past. We don't have to even like each other. But we can all get along. Hell, I've got family members that I can't stand but I tolerate them to keep the peace. There are, and will be for a long time, people trying to keep this going. But please, EVERYBODY, lets all work for the peace that 99% of us want. Ignore and overlook those that are too STUPID to see that peace is the best for all.

Yes I was there LadyLaw , having been victimized my many fake handles , by many different people , including the one you refer to , I see no reason to protect her , she has chosen to be nasty under assumed handles so why should she be protected from those wishing to know who has a fake handle .lots of nasty business going on with fake handles , both in chat and blogs . what I find funny is all her enemies can pick her out very quickly but she has to set there giving hints to those she thinks are her friends . I defended her in the past , I was wrong .I corrected that and she knows why .
