This picture was taken of me skiing at Snowbird Utah. We climbed higher on the mountain and came down until we found this great cliff to jump off. Look closely and see the landing area. I was in a group of four and I was 2nd to do the jump. I landed the jump and continued to ski in the fantastic powder. One of my last thrills before I had my knees replacements.

And you wonder why your knees needed replacements ~ just teasing!!
its certainly wild n wintery in Utah , even though i was raised in icy conditions sailing in the north Atlantic i doubt i'd survive there for very long now
i dont know about the skiing but the peace and solitude looks fantastic

Have never skied but it sure looks fun. Probably do like my grandson did 1/2 an hour after he skied for the first time, fell and screwed up his knee.

I started skiing at age 3 and quit at age 52. I never suffered any injury whatsoever. The last ten years I spent snowboarding with my sons. I was born bow legged and ruined my knees as a plumber and also being unhappily married for 24 years and begging for sex

Great shot, great skiing......I stopped when I outgrew my barrel staves.....Oh, not quite, my parents bought me skiis and I did fine until we moved away from Cemetery Hill..... Oh yes, that begging for sex will kill the knee caps I'm told....
