 The day was just typically gorgeous and I decided to spend it working on my tan at Ft Myers Beach. I was all set up with my chair and cooler full of a delicious snack lunch with my ipod playing soft music creating a soothing background atmosphere. The sun was making me drowsy and I decided on having a quiet undisturbed nap while I toasted. For some reason I detected all was not right and awoke to find this turtle about 3 feet from my chair! Immediately I jumped up in fright and grabbed my camera to take capture the moment. I snapped away then gently grabbed the turtle by the shell and returned it to the water where it had started from. My eyes were wide open and I think I lost some of my tan! At least I never lost any of my lunch  , or body parts for that matter! After this incident I have trouble closing my eyes at the beach! People nearby remarked that they watched the turtle make a beeline for me and wondered when I was going to move when they saw me fly out of my chair! They say a picture is worth a thousand words but this one included a few hurried curses!!

ah' a mobile steak and kidney pie with crunchy crust !! i hope you told the turtle they are banned from the beach during daylight hours
