Journey into the Night

The dawn has broken, A new day begun
Hope has spoken, for when the day is done
A lost ship at sea, looking for a place
A safe harbor and a friendly face

A voice to hear that calls to you
to come near, and listen too
So you come, to a place of discovery
Yet in a prison of your mind,
there can be no recovery

Until the sun sets and hope replaced with fear
That the places and people will soon disappear
A voice no longer to hear.. A place that's lost it's site
When the dark has come to replace the light
On a Journey into the Night

 For what once was... and what's will come to be
Sets the sails of the lost a ship, upon the sea
In search of a new dawn. and a new light
That will find a way,
From a painful journey into the night.
