Time

Reading poetry today has inspired me....

I wish I could find the time
When time is all I got
To do with it what I want
To discover what time is not

To slow it down, if I can
When it seem to go so fast
To count the grains of sand
To try and make time last

Thinking about what to do
Seems to slow the time down
Doing something about it
Seems to speed it up, I found

Happiness, it spends you
and takes your time away
Misery, it saves you
and store your time away

So what is it to be
to save or to spend
To surmise is not reality
When time will not bend

The calendar on my wall
The hourglass in my hand
It's not a choice at all
If I count the grains of sand

So, I need to find the time
because it will not wait
Happiness can not be found
If time becomes my fate

 mrsjoe,

Exactly, I wrote this because I couldn't decide what's more important.....................................Making time last or Living for the last time.
I hope we all can find our answer in the poem.
