Obama and liberalism

In the world of liberalism Obama is not much of a flag waiver. Those to the far left do not see him as the savior, as the people on the far right would have us believe. Obama's actions as president have been tempered by attempt to placate everyone and as such have placated no one. This is my reality, I don't support Obama not because of the hatred the Right wishes I'd believe, but because as President he should lead.
Not really sure what Obama actually believes, not sure even he knows. I don't know if for political reasons he has tempered his beliefs. What I do know is those on the Right that use and abuse and believe he has not tempered beliefs but have put them into actions, are ill-tempered
.

How is it correct, proper and "the right thing to do" to allow illegals to commit additional crimes?

Do you read the garbage you write, skariff, or do you just cut-and-paste the Party Line?

Reality is to perception as probability is to possibility. Those who have answered here need to try and understand this.
Skariff's responses are more to my reality than those perceptions of the other responders.
That does not mean that I negate other's perceptions, I accept them as less probable yet not impossible.
It's is my reality that history will view Obama as a important president because of his race. As far politics goes history will view him as an above average president. His particular fault is his failure to lead.
In all cases of actions done by Obama he has failed to promote his ideas against the backlash of conservative negativism. His arrogance is in his believe that his action can stand alone and stand the test of time.
I some ways he's right. Obamacare will not be the Obamacare it is today it will be better no matter what the conservative attempt to do. It will become important in a different form. History is pretty fickled when comes to assessing the person responsible. Obama knows that whatever happens to Obamacare he will be crowned the king of an American Public health Care System for getting it all started. Even if that start was a failure. It is amusing for me to think that Conservative construction and use of the word Obamacare will only serve the purpose of identifying and propagating Obama's legacy. That the conservative approach of immediate gratification without consideration for future indignation. Serves the purpose of their opponents to bear some immediate indignation for future gratification. The success of Obamacare is certainly assured, and the conservatives will help make changes that will lead to it's success, even if that becomes their goal or not. Much like our conglomerate corporations, Obamacare is simply too big to fail.
Get use to it, it the new wave of f'd up politics
.

The idea of less government and lower taxation are conservative ideas that need not be attacked. Any political idea that is based on sanity need not be attacked. The merit of the idea needs to be assessed and most importantly the application of the idea needs to completely thought out
The liberals need to see the value of the conservative ideas, and in turn apply those idea to fit the current system that protect us all.
I have hope that someday that may be case.
I don't have hope that the current Conservative movement will be able to act in kind. That the application of liberal ideas is not the issue but a tool of conservative to try and destroy the idea.
This will be the death of the current conservative movement, someone may be able to kill an application but they can never kill an idea.

Crazyhorse,

The strength of your opinion does not make your opinion more true, but only serves to try and negate the opinions of other's.
No matter what is said here, no matter what you see as slight to your opinion. it is quite evident to me that Skariff and I, respect and allow the right to your opinion more than you do to ours.
We open the door to others, you close door to their faces.

massie

I agree with skariff's response to you. you may have some basis of truth behind what you say, but the negativism is not a factor of truth but is a choice.
Much like crazyhorse, the strength of one's convictions does not infer the
rightness of one's convictions. The stronger your political convictions become the more opponents you will discover.
This is the choice you make not created by the truth you'd have us believe.

Some say Obama was born in Kenya.

Good enough for me.
