Somewhere Cariad

A star shines bright
beyond the milky way
Where day cannot change night
and Magic and moonbeams stay

Somewhere there is a bridge
which spans an ocean wide
that brings hearts together
never takes them for a ride

Somewhere there is a time
with no time at all
tomorrow is today
no expectations or recall

Somewhere there is no illness
that can blacken ones soul
No pain and no suffering
The mind and body whole

Somewhere there are arms
that hold you while in bed
Somewhere there is a chest
upon which to lay your head

Somewhere there is a beach
A shared shore on a distant land
Where waves never say goodbye
and tides won't wash away the sand

Somewhere there is a Mermaid
not lost in a sea
Frolicking in the heather
with no cares of destiny

TY Red and LaC.

This morning I was reading though some of my stuff and went to cariad's blog and read her stuff too. I wrote this rather quickly, and many times when I do that, I'm more possessed with the idea, than attentive to what I'm writing. I find when that happens I write my best stuff. After I read it the third time.....It brought tears to my eyes, I know grown men aren't suppose to cry, but I found it to be uplifting.
