 Good find Rubi - I'd be happy if I came across same/similar. As it's brass or at least water tight, could it used as a vase (short stemmed flowers e.g. geraniums)?

 Another great find. It may not have a great monetary value, but the worth of something is in the owner's eyes. It is lovely!

btw: Is there a reason you arrange the comments newest first? It means folks have to read your blog, then scroll down to the bottom and read upwards, then go back to the bottom to comment. ~~ But whatever works for you~~
